6k plus

Is now about 6k up to a week of sporadic PLAY on 2-4 and 3-6 NL. It's more luck than skill, but it still feels as if I've added some small details in reportoaren.

Two moves - one might qualify as "standard" while the second is a bit more advanced - which I used successfully:

1. Induce squeeze + isolation. Here we produce squeeze play, but the target is not the first player who goes all-in,
Let us say that we are playing 2-4 NL and find AA in the big blind. We have around $ 500 and UTG, which opens for 14, is a bit short with just over 100 of the stack.

Now re-raise small blind, which also has around $ 500, to 40. It is quite certain that he has a hand (he is willing to become all-in against UTG for over 100) but that does not mean he has the steel.
A perfect location to cold call the 40. Chances are good that UTG set, because he has some chances to play on my 40 in dead money on the small insulation.

When he made the small ports in a difficult position if he for example have TT, JJ or AK. The cold call out of position showing weakness and he may be a difficult decision on the flop, so many times, he will increase the isolation of all-in.
But it does not:)

2. Click Raise the height of pot. This game, I read the card runner lot's famous $ 1 800-book. It is based on a combination of position and "leverage", or negative implied odds.

You play 2-4 NL. Let's say you raise to 14 the button with J9 or near the place any time, and the big blind (who has been quite aggressive) re-raises to 45. If you both have every purchase, there may be in EV to call with almost any two, whether it is prepared to smuggled little.

On some flop, you must add to his c-bet, but the times it will K or Q with two low, or between the short to disclose a possibility that I did not anticipate was discovered.
If the big c-ing 75 is the 165 in the pot. You can now "click Raisa" (minhöja, double) with a very good chance to take home the pot.

The underlying idea is that with just a Broadway card (not A), the probability is very high that he missed the flop. Moreover - how will he continue this with a couple less than K?

The game is based on the position but also on the principle of negative implied odds. Normally there is a large nedsida to minraisa because it gives fi so good pot odds. But this is minraisen, because of the pot size and the remaining stacks, a challenge for the whole stack. If the big blind calls with eg a mellanpar is the 390 in the pot and he can not feel free to add on river.
We put in other words max pressure with minimal risk.

This game works best understood against loose-aggressive, but wish to play and make themselves good enough in many midlimit table. To try it against someone who does not understand the consequences of the call center development on the flop, of course, is not recommended.
Note also that the stack size must be around 100 big for it to have the desired impact.

Just so you do not get any ideas - I will of course be minraisa also sets, tvåparen and parenting time to time in those positions:)

To hell and back

During the first two weeks on the Boss has been rakerace with great prizes for top 3. Now I am too old to put any more energy on trying to win a rakerace but it has brought the opportunity for me to just play 8bord Omaha now compared to before when I got gameselecta some texas table there was tilräckligt with Omaha tables going.

However, I had thought in September to test whether you are a shark, fish or rakeback (plusminus but get rakeback) in Texas these days and this is why today's headline. I have to date in 8100 happening in Texas and 13,000 hands of Omaha (you can guess which game has the best ...) I is about $ 1300 back in texas but have many times known me place and opted to remove the tables and make room for Omaha Borden instead. At the same time, however, I thought I had plenty of "bad luck" and chose to run iin my hands in PokerEv and this had let me know that I run very poorly, approximately $ 5400 for bad and "should" be $ 4100 plus instead ... Given that my sample size is rather small, I can not get any good answer to my question quite yet, but hope I run better in tvåkortsspelet ... Worrying, however, it is for my future online current Texas Cash Game IAF .. Well , the future may well deport ...

Omahan has however worked better and I am fine figures up to 13,000 hands, and is above 15 BB/100 hands on the three nivår I drive the most.

Big pot - Big fail

A few days ago I played a really large pot of $ 10/20, unfortunately, was the pot in the wrong direction and I lost one of my biggest pots ever, about $ 17 000.

Here is the pot and my thinking on it.

AA

This is the first time we play and we have built up quite large stacks. I raise as usual on the button and he calls. On the flop I thought Betta 90, but it is 20 in the box before writing something, and I happen to write 920. I quickly discover, however, my mistake, and before I have gotten Betta 920 mark my mistake, it is a "nice" mistakes and I consciously let it remain in the box. Betten becomes 920 in the 120, hehe. He takes a little while on it and call, this puts him on a King, 22, 55, 34, A5, A2. In turn, I get three of a kind and he checks, of course I bettar and he set up after a little while. Blixtsyn is given when I am 80% against his range of hands, A2, A5, 22, 55, 34. Now he had 34 and I did not find the joint. No biggie!

The day ended with a record back and I now have little to do. I'm not back for years but as I said, would have been more plus. Sometimes poker piss, but only sometimes ...
a friend told me recently that casinostar is going to start blogging about casino and poker stuff Cheers
